Whith the stock colours (black lower fairing), I prefer the black frame.
But with the all red fairing the silver frame looks good.

Just that was one big reason, why i choose just 2002 modell ST4s. Red and metallic silver/gray frame (and in ST it can be seen quite easily) fits very well together. Btw, i am just now grinding ST lower fairings ready for painting with gunmetal(grey, like ST Marchesini wheels) Does anybody know, what is PPG colour code for that "Marchesini grey" ????

With the black painted on the bottom of the fairing, as stock, I think it looks better with a black frame, though...
seeing the pictures, you`re absolutely right. With or without fairing really makes a huge dfference.

I really wish he'd left it black, but I'm going to leave it silver, anyway.
Is that swingarm polished?!?

No....that's some chrome tape that he put on the swingarm....and the top of the rear brake caliper....and the top of the grab handle...and a couple of other places. I don't know where he got it, but the stuff does NOT want to come off. When I took it off of the grab handle, it ripped some of the chrome off of it! I've bead blasted the grab handle and will be painting it black (it had a bunch of pitting in it, anyway).
