Gerhard is very close: 750 Paso have normally "near black metal" in that lower part of fairings, but i wanted to change it to be little lighter, like "metal dark gray", or "gunmetal", but NOT silver, what is too light. I tested it with my 750 Paso and everybody, who saw it, say, that it fits perfectly to Ducati red, so, i decided to paint also my 907 lower part to that colour. Ok, function again very well, so then i painted also my ST4S lower part to "quite same" grey and again it looks great. My 750 and 907 have same colour, but ST is little more darker. I have somewhere that my 750 and 907 colour code, if someone need it. Pitty, that no fotos of my bikes in internet, but if someone want to paint lower part to grey, then i can send some fotos one day(to PM!!!!). Not yet, cause i am in holidays, but i think, that everybody drives now bikes and paint them at wintertime..at least here in Europe...

Anyway i dont want to put fotos of my bikes to internet at all....

It's pretty much the same color as the frame and wheels of the newer bikes, like my 2002 748....

ALL Ducatis are made FOR HARD DRIVING (and surely for good maintain!!!) I have never understood such guys(now i dont mean "Desmo_Demon"), who buy Ducatis only for "showing, that they have MONEY to buy DUCATI". I never accept such...

BUT i am ranking very high such guys, who really maintain hole of they Ducatis and drive them "as grazy".

I like to think I ride it fairly hard.
My typical rear tire only lasts 2500 miles (4000 km) before it is bald, and I may get 3500 miles (5600 km) out of a front tire. Here's one of the last street front-tires I had on it....
I don't ride it as often as I'd like, but with all the bikes that I have, it is understandable. I bought it in April of 2003, had it off the road for the whole year of 2004, and I am just know finishing up the 12,000 miles (19000 km) valve check/adjustment on it. I'm hoping to have 18,000 miles (29000 km) on the bike by the end of next summer........
I've had it on the track a couple of times, also....
Front tire from a trackday....
:neener:
My extremely bright colors!!!....
It's also seen the ground at least once....

@ Antti : The first two pictures in this thread show the tire combination wich i describe. It`s badly to drive with... i think your PASO won`t drive even better with.
