I went to my local alternator repair shop and got some brushes close to the size and filed them down to fit. But, the coper wires have to soldered with a high wattage soldering iron and the guy at the repair shop offered me to do the job. I took back the brushes and the brush housing and It took him about 1 minute. I gave him 10 dollars.

Thanks guys. I was already to remove the starter but I came here and took the suggestion of going at it from the right side. I went to my local hardware store and got a brush with the lead coming out the side. The positive side brushn was the only one needing replacement. I filed old brush down to the nub. Then piggy backed the new brush in front of it. It took me a couple hours to reassemble it but it works ! My paso is back for 50 cents. 19970 miles ready for another 20. If i can find front tires !
