I took some measurements, and using the 750's axle is not possible with a 907 swingarm.

The 907's axle is 350mm long with the non-threaded, center section being 305mm in length. The total length of the stock 750 axle is only 280mm. There is only about a 3mm difference in the internal width of the swingarm between the swingarm's forks, but with the adjuster eccentric's design, the 750 axle is shorter, whereas the 907's axle needs to protrude beyond the outside of the swingarm.

I found an axle from a monster 600 the diameter is ok 17mm,but the seller says to me that the lenght is 33 cm....
you wrote that i need 35 cm of total axle lenght   ....my question is:
he takes wrong measurement?cause the stock monster swingarm seems to me identical in the end part to 907 one....
i hope it should be fit :)

P.S.
do you think chain register of monster 600 will fit???

M600 has 4,5" rear wheel & a steel swing, thererfore the difference
in axle length I think. M900 w alu swing axle would fit as they have the same
rear wheel as 907.

iìm so confused because i have at home 4.5 wheel and i supposed to mount a 170/60-17 on it....but the internal diameter for axle is 17 mm,now if the axle for monster an supersport 600-750 are too shorter i hav to buy one from an St or a 900 monster with alu swingarm....and if the axle of this bike will be too big for my rim???
what do you think??

One from an ST will not work. I know the '98 ST2 (and probably the '97) have a 25mm rear axle. If I were you, contact the guy with the '92 907 rear axle in Canada and offer him $20 for it. You're better off to have the correct axle than to waste your time, and potentially your money, by buying the wrong axle and trying to make it work. It'd be even worse if you had to buy several axles to find one that works...

I bet you can get it for $30 USD, shipped to your door.

Interesting........I would have a difficult time trusting that M6-M8 bolt to hold the necessary amount of torque required without doing more research, but.....assuming a machinist made that, I'm sure he knew what he was doing. It definitely is interesting.

It is a M8. I have a PDF file of the drawing. I can send it to you. Or you can look at this link http://alltomingenting.no-ip.info/paso/Excenter

Hi Anders

Is it you’re PASO on http://alltomingenting.no-ip.info/gallery/new_rear_axle ? It looks great with conversion. Have you had any issues? What about clearance between the wheel and swing arm?

Klaus

Yes,

It's mine.

Clearence are very tight.
Chain alignment was tricky.
The wheel I got was not centered in same way as the Paso.
Needed to make some special spacers.

The excenter is available from a UK manufacturer.
But I had it made localy.

What about the depth clearance. I mean does the diameter of the wheel produce a problem. I noticed that the eccentric is at it outer position?

Do you remember where or who in the UK

Yes,
The wheel dia is a matter. The exenter have to be in back position, otherwise the tire will scrubbing against the front of the swingarm.

I have Pirelli Diablo 160/60 tiresback.

The bike runs more smooth with 17" tires.
