No soundclip there...
It just now worked for me. It is an .MOV video file that I had to download Quicktime to view. I don't know how to convert the file to anything else, as I have very limited experience with video clips.
I picked up the mechanic's stethoscope last night, but haven't had the time to use it, yet. I'm really hoping it is nothing that requires splitting the cases. If this is the case, the bike will probably sit for a while.....unfortunately.

Maybe there is an issue with your browser. Try to right-click over it and hit "Save Traget As..." to save the file to your computer. Maybe you can get it to open that way.

Well....it appears that the issue was minor....
The crankcase breather came off and the weird squeaking noise was coming from that. In the process of looking things over, though, it looks like I will have to rebuild the clutch slave....

Did you try to open the cap of generator bearing on the left cover?
A simple look at will help you to solve a doubt!

The squeaking noise is no longer there when I put the breather tube back in place.
With the mechanics stethoscope, everything sounds correct in all parts of the bike.
