ok, my first attempt at posting some photographs,

Image
The day after I picked her up from the shop, ready to head home.

Image
In Grafton, New South Wales. Just covered about 400k's.

Image

Image
Naked in Sydney.

Image
Heading through the Flinders Ranges, South Australia - Horrocks Pass.

Image
Heading west, Penora, South Australia. Lots of furry spots on the road where little creatures met an untimely end.

Image
Great Australian Bight, South Australia.

Image

Image
Eucla, Western Australia. Finally in my home state, just 1,400kms to go.

Image
All distances shown on this marker are "As the crow flys".

Image
Western Nullabor Plain, Western Australia. It gets lonely out here.

Image
Finally, some company. About 1,000k's out of Perth.

Lots of bikes on the road heading both West and East. Great to see so many other bikers out enjoying the experience.
Total distance travelled since buying the bike, 5,618kms. All bar the last 300km was travelled in fine weather with some strong winds across the Hay Plain in New South Wales. The last day heading into Perth was pissing down rain, which made for a slow trip into the city. What would have been a 3 hour ride took over five due to the amount of trucks on the road, the rain, no electicity at some towns to drive fuel pumps.

A really good trip overall. The bike performed very well. Was pretty comfortable, after I removed the sheepskin seat cover. Will never use one of those things again.

Thanks to all for keeping me company on the trip. At every opportunity I got onto the net to check who had been following my journey.
