I'm just reading through the forum...sorry to dredge up old topics. The clock in my Paso doesn't work either so I've set mine to 5:00 to remind me that, as Jimmy Buffett says, "It's 5:00 Somewhere."

Clock info
http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2136
In the 750 tech faq
Having a working clock is not about keeping time, its about making it work jus cuz its there
On the subject of the passage of time, most theories these days attribute the passage of time to you position in space
What better position in space than on a your favorite Ducati and that time always seems too short

don't ya think?

I'd look at it more along the lines that the clock would be correct twice a day!

Iron Maiden Fan? I would set mine to 3 minutes to midnight as I'm more a Midnight Oil guy...
Riddle me this: My 907s' clock runs slow when sitting in the garage, fast when I have the bike on the trickle charger and keeps good time when riding...!!
I think it says something about states of happiness...but I'm sure you Ducati philosophers out there could come up with a better metaphor.

Hereis my solution to the void that is the defunct Paso clock.
Its a £1 store (or $1) clock that runs off a 1.5 volt battery. The facia from the standard clock is removed and placed onto the battery clock. Small enough to fit between the instruments and I run the wires out the back of the instrument box to a 'C' type. I even get a second hand!

So, you have also the seconds' hand

How do you set the clock?
I guess the stock crown of the watch doesn't be useful....

Setting the time

As you can see this is a compromise, setting the time can only be done by opening the instrument box and adjusting the clock or stopping the clock and waiting until the correct time of day before restarting it (my favorite).
