I disagree with Gerhard,
In:

I wrote down what happend to the Paso.
Indeed the Paso is a bike which shares no simalairities with another bike.
For Paso lovers like us this is a good thing. But I know plenty of people who dislike the Paso.
Can't say the Paso is a beautifull bike but it's full of caracter.
The new monster was the bike I was looking for when I went to the Ducati dealer.
But the Streetfighter cought my eye and the main diffence was "Brutality".
Where the old model Monster (like the one in the picture above) is a pure macho bike, the new Monster looks a bit soft.
The Streetfighter got that same "machones" as the old model Monster.
In real and sitting on it the new Monster is softer and rounder, where the Streetfighter is harder leaner and meaner.
What suppriezed me most where the advertizement photo's. They are all from low position which makes the bike looks like Quasimodo (you know the Hunchback from the Nothre Dame).
It's just a small and agressive lokking bike. Clearely a Ducati and not mistaken for a Kawasaki, Benelli, MV Agusta, Nitro or whatever.
Just the sound tells all and what's left to see of the engine tops it off.

Oh, now I see you changed the position of the exhaust.
Hmmm... To be really really honest... I don't like exhaust under the seat.
But then again just my opinion, might look good in real.

Maybe she wanted do so, if You put more attencion to Ducatis, than to her? Sometimes women can be VERY CRUEL, especially, if they start to be jealous, or "black socked"....

I think, I don't want to know what black socked is....
But did you notice the front fork is different than from the website/folder?
It's not silver but bronze like the clutchcover (and luckely not gold).

I don't know the Roy's wife, but I can't think about such thing...
But, that can be a good reason to keep the Paso

.

I drove it today trough Amsterdam City.
Man what a power. It said 0 km on the dash when I stepped on it so no more revs than 5.000-6.000.
But then it already feels faster than the Paso. It certainly is more manoeuvrable.
You can see the frontwheel spinning.... stange
Two things are quite the same:
- Clutch effort
- Brake effort.
So little extra work to stap over from the Paso to the Streetfighter.
When I left the shop I saw the Paso between the other Ducs and MotoGuzzi's.
It looked nice. Bit said though
Something to cheer you and me up:
Nice Monsterly exhaust

Black high heels looks much better, than Ducati training shoes.... Her legs are better shaved, than Pramac Ducati's fairings are finished.... Unfortunately her hairs are not red...

streetfighter????!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry but i think ducati is really pandering with this bike. a streetfighter is a naked gsxr with straight bars and a headlight bolted on the front.
- and its from the 90s!
it may look tough, but it has no style. a paso pisses all over the streetfighter! (I've had some vodka)

I hated the new Streetfighter and couldn't figure out why they'd release a bike that would compete with their own Monster. I figured maybe it is a way for them to determine which deirection to take the Monster, next. I went to the unveiling of the Streetfighter at my local dealer, and I was surprised to find out that I really like the bike in person. Shockingly, I found myself telling my wife that I wouldn't mind having one.
