yeah, all i need to do now is find out why the oil strainer is full of metal

we think its the crank plug but its going for surgery soon

Thanks for the pm glad you got her, looks a beauty soz not replied sooner but working away and will be again tmoz. regarding that metal it may be from the gearbox or a bearing housing like the alternator. Is it alloy or metal? Most metal is from the gearbox end of the engine. Play about with it with a magnet.

Please don't get too freakish about it - personally if the bike rides fine and all the obvious things work around the engine without knocks or bangs then ride and enjoy the weather and the summer.
