You are "guru" to find allkind spare parts from whole world (

), but some others cant be. Anyway production numbers show also, how easy it is to find spare parts. ST and Monsters (also Supersports) are very good example, as Ducati have done HUGE amount of such bikes, so surely then much easier to find spare parts from markets.
I still wonder that not so many from Ducatipaso.org sites guys have thinked /own ST, as is direct next step to "better Ducati Sport Tourer" after Paso series...

What shall be reason for that? Should i make new topic? I want to know reason to that, as there must be something "what doesnt fit now"... ST series bikes are very good ones (especially when thinking price/quality), but also they suffer from some problems (not so big ones, as 750 and 906 Paso's)

I know that ST's are great bikes for the kind of sport touring I do, but styling is very important to me and thiat rules them out as an option.

+1.
I know a ST4s is a very good bike but it`s just too plain looking.
My heart has to beat faster when I see my bike.
If my bike would be used f everyday transportation, maybe I´d reason differently.

I fully agree,so I think the last Ducati which manages to get my heart beating faster is the Tamburini's 916.
No ST, nor Multi manages to do it.
Perhaps, the Hypermotard a little bit, even if I would'nt consider to buy her.
Ciao

I might agree with you, but after the first look I start riding and then my heart beats faster!

As paso750 said, i don´t see any spare-part-problem for Pasos. And the tyre-problem does not realy exist.
But for me owning a 750ss and a Paso 906 i would chose the SS.
If one like to drive in a dynamic style, the SS is so much faster to move.
The 906 is a little bit like a lorry against the SS, but after 1600km in the italian alps, there for me is the SS not as good as the Paso. For trips like that the Paso is my No.1.
Bye the way i own a 996 too, wich is full of character and for me is it (748-998) the most beautifull motorbike ever.
But its not realy what you say a comfortable bike. The first ride was horrible and i thought about the reselling. But since 2004 i rode about 16000km and i wont miss her anymore.
I think that a 750/900ss would be the better chose...

Paso or SS? That was the question and i wanted to answer with the knowledge owning both.
The 916 ff. is an other story...
