I have never been able to get the front wheel off the ground except when exiting a turn revving up through that sweet torque spot BUT usually the rear tire does it little spin and slip thing - woohoo, you know the feeling . . . and even if I thought it was possible, I can only think of those new clutch plates I'll have to be buying.

I don't think I will EVER be able to have an accurate, working speedometer. After 2 dashes, 2 drive units and 3 cables later I've only ever had a dozen miles before it resigns to a little wiggle . . .

Had a wheelie at the weekend actually, doing about 90-100mph leant right over and near full throttle, corner opens out so I'm OK to do that. Went over an undulation which pumped the front end and up came the front wheel!
But as for straight line, clutch dump wheelies, that is the quickest way to ruin a good bike so don't ask the question. Besides it isn't the giggle like it used to be with the two strokes, these heavy four strokes (especially Ducatis) are a big enough lump on two wheels and what goes up doesn't always come down.... the right way.

you're not wrong!...you can google some spectacular wheelie crashes on the net

when you watch this in slow motion the 907 does a complete 360 and lands on the wheels again, thats not a bad stunt

Good brakes those Brembos  The guy in the front bike didn't see what was coming to him. Very unpleasant surprise  . I hope our fellow paso owner made it that day with just a brooze.

Ya know I had a 750 and a 900 BMW boxer and when you popped up the front wheel on either one of those shaft driven tractors - you suddenly discovered your 2-cly horizontal was a plane caught in a right handed trajectory of certain death . . . trust me :smoke:
