To answer as many replies as I can
JWill. Thank you very much for the info on the bolts and screws and such. The flat blade screw under the filter you mentioned, and idea how to actuallly remove it? I didnt do anything with it I promise but it leaks and has nothing to stop the leak in between the head of the screw and the engine. I want to fix it. I saw the allen drain plug but I dont have one that big what size is it?

I am sorry to anyone who I may have offended after I thought i was offended. Like I said I was offended by saying check the owners maual. As I explained mine was different. why? no clue. ill try to find it and send it.

i came here to check on FAQ's because I need to adjust my carb. Saw I had a lot of replies and i thought I should reply.

I also posed that champion renamed their spark plug. I was told that here is the NGK version it's better! After buying it I have found it is way off. Not only is it smaller lengthwise from threads to to spark but it's also thinner at the threads. Meaning if you put the NGK in the hole nothing will happen when you try to tighten it.

So here is what I have done. I replaced the belts, corrected the timing, checked the valves and adjusted. I took out the oil filter and replaced it with a k&N because I found one in stock online. I took out the other filter that comes out from the side with a 21mm wrench. It was pretty clean but I made sure it was clean. Those 2 steps is how I drained my oil. I tipped the bike to the right to drain oil from the filter. I then put in the K&N oil filter and put the other filter back in. I saw the bike holds 3.4 liters of oil. i added 3 quarts of oil and the oil site showed it was still low. i kept adding more until it was just above the bottom line on the oil site on the right side of the engine. I tipped the bike up straight and that is almost level with the top line. I started the bike and it runs awesome now! however at idle it's not so good. I think my carb was adjusted before i got the bike to run well at idle when it was out of time. I knew the timing was off because when it was not idling it ran bad. Plus other things.

So I came here to find what the settings are supposed to be for the carb. But now I need to go to bed and look tomorrow for adjusting the carb.

You all are awsome and that's why i ask my silly questions. I know you can answer them. Thank you so much!

Carb sync, possible clean. Also I have found with the NGK it helps to open them up to the maximum gap
