Yesterday I sent this guy a message on ebay; I just couldnt let this charade go on any longer
"Dear tink1st,
Good evening, I'm sure you have recieved some emails pertaining to your asking price. IMHO and with years of 750,906, and 907 experience you are asking just too much for the bike. The maket reflects a mint 907 with under 2K miles selling for 5K. There are very few people collectors included that prefer the tri-color. I can understand if you don't want to sell the bike, thats cool; but if you do and you want some cash I would start @ 4.5K or 5K, you may have some interest at that point. This is by no means a bash just some friendly advice; after all you do own a ducati, you can't be that bad... Have a good evening."
He sent me this.
"hello and thank you for ur email i do understand where you are coming from yet i did alot of research i found 2 of the same bike and to be honest one is selling it for 18000 and the other one is selling it for 22000 will it sell i dont know but they did only make a 100 of those styles bikes it happens its cool if not then it aint meant to be for the bike to be sold again thank you"
Anybody know of these two mystery bikes for 18k and 22K?
And...I forgot to say I think thats still a tad too much for the bike w 18K even if its got a novel of service records, MO would be at a stretch $4.5k tops, even at that point the buyer would have to be naive or in love....
