Good job
It always pays to do the basics first

Most electrical issues come down to simple connections issues
Always check those power supply and grounds...90% of all problems can be fixed by these simple checks even on the most complicated machinary. A bad ground will fry expensive parts very quickly, if power can't go to its assigned ground it will find its own

There's no problem so bad that a little fixing can't make it worse! : )

there is a thread in the FAQ on repairing the output transitors and there are outfits around that will do it for you

took it out for a ride saturday it ran perfect for about 10 to 15 min,s.
i was going 50mph down the road and bike just stopped.coasted over to the side of the road
engine dead. waited 5 min,s bike would start & limped it home a 2500rpm. let it cool off for an hour runs perfect. i am convinced the spark is the problem. :banghead: i ordered a new marelli digiplex box today

I had a similar situation a while back on my 906. I would run fine for a while then out of the blue start missing gradually getting worse to the point it would die.Other times I would just get a hiccup when cruising around 60mph. Sometimes it would start right back up sometimes it was stone dead, others just spit and cough. In the end it turned out to be the connector on the base of the ignition switch. The tabs that hold the connector in place being 20+ years old just couldn't keep up with the road vibrations. I replaced every connector and used a wire tie to keep the tabs in their proper place. Been fine ever since

May not be your issue, but a good place to start while waiting for your new module
