You know me well enough by now englishstiv to know that what follows is quite serious.

If you want to have a blast on any of my bikes (currently my 916s, 851 and my 907 with a 2nd generation Vmax following soon) all you have to do is get yourself to Wales when I'm there and you can take all or any out for a thrash. I'll even pay for your insurance if you pay for my beer . . ..

Had a friend pick up the bike this weekend and unloaded it off the trailer this morning. Paint was pretty nice so I took bodywork to my painter to fix a dent and crack and a repaint on the mirrors. A few other small things are needed...... fuel pump (possibly), stator (probably), instrument cover, and dash panel. Think I will just have the plexiglass cover made so I don't have to get the whole dash with tach, speedo, etc. Tires are like new, but the sidewalls are cracked. I just happen to have a nice pair of 16'' Paso tires to replace them with. The old ones will get wrapped in a plastic bag and put in my basement in case someone wants them for a restoration. Lots of cleaning and polishing then she will be done. I am thinking about making this one a hot rod. Already have a stock Paso so I might make this one a little faster. I have a set of 12.5/1.00 pistons, a NOS Bub exhaust, and a set of 750SS carbs and intakes. While the head is off a little cleanup on the ports and a larger intake valve should give some pretty good, reliable power. Whatdoyathink????
