750 Paso model changes

Gehart
That's just a shadow. Although when I look at it in the avatar I think it would look quite good in black. It would be hard to get a nice edge though.
My bike was one of those that wasn't sold new until 1990 and it started it's life in Italy (or so I was told) It is not a U.S spec one so far as I know.
The code on the head stock is ZDM750p*75467*
DGM520 55 OM
So according to J.S http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic. ... =vin#p8993
I think that works back to a production year of 89. So one of the later ones.

Agreed, not as standard anyway. Mine were anthracite, however, I did have my forks powder-epoxy coated in metallic gold, and I painted the disc centres and the mesh grille on the fairing to match, which I reckon look pretty cool, but it's personal preference...Finnpaso wrote: I agree You with those M1R fork colours, i havent seen ever any other, than antrasite/(gun metal), never black, or silver ones...

(edited the links so they work. G.) (Re-edited the links to point to images on Photobucket. Thx G. - Dave.

You may also note the chrome Conti silencers and the custom saddle (similar to Corbin) mentioned in my earlier post in this thread. I've never seen any other Paso with these Conti's yet.Marinus wrote:...and I have to say a paso looks better with two stainless cans that are at least as long as the original black ones.
Sorry, couldn't get the photos into this post, but the links should work if you want to take a look.

Much appreciated, how'd you do that?

Dave.
Re: 750 Paso model changes
Yes Mike. For me that look is the ultimate. The stainless staintunes the paint job and the seat. Magic looking bike. a fine example. I have a photos of yours saved to my comp.
While we're on it has anyone done something about the areas on the rims where the clear coat is cracking? your rims look real good. Mine look real good to for the first 100km of a ride.

...I'm always a little bit envious for the friends who has a wife who allows them to keep the bike in the living room...

@ Dave, what I did is just go on your links then click with the right mouse button on the picture and select "Properties" in the pop up menu. Then you have the complete link to the picture not to the page only.
I should have left your links though as it seems that sometimes the pics are shown, sometimes not. Box.net is good to store and upload flies, for pictures photobucket.com is much better. (and it`s for free also)
