From Hektik p. 56 - (translated)
Digital power ignition system as replacement for the Digiplex
ignition. Micro computer and 16 ignition lines for normal & double
ignition. Rapid assembly of the ignition box and the ignition coils,
since owners and plugs of the wiring harness fit. No change of the
Pickups or the ignition rotor necessarily. The original basic
adjustment remains. Plug and Ride
Oy - About $730 USD (567 Euro, with coils)!
I hope it turns out to be something simple like ahdoman's solution. Somehow I doubt it though. Three Duc Shops and an independent (former Duc mechanic) have all failed to correct the situation. The funny thing is I have gotten more ideas here in two days than I have in two states and 3 years! If it's a spark plug I am going to scream! (Then I am going to ride!)

Yep, your English is easy to understand, Jose, and that German site looks interesting. Good idea.

Carl,
Start with the simplest things (usually cheapest too) first and work your way up to the more difficult things. I would really look hard at the electrics and the proper voltages. When I got my Paso it would run like crap and overcharge the battery. This lead me to the wiring changes and by accident, a MUCH better running engine because the electronics and coils were getting the design voltage.
Don't give up!
BTW I live in NY but I'm pretty sure I've been to Granbury. A bit South of Dallas right? Wolf Hollow or Wolf Creek power station is there.

Granbury is Southwest of Fort Worth about 40 miles. It's 37 miles into work anyway. There is a Wolf Hollow plant nearby and there is also Commanche Peak.
I'll work on the simple stuff, like finding my spark plug wrench and multi meter.

It may take a while to get to it though as I am also rebuilding a wing and need to get that finished up. Thanks for the advice. I'll be posting results and probably asking more questions.

Been to both plants. Might have to be at CP in the very near future. Maybe if you have beer in the fridge for lubrication I could stop in and stare at yout digiplex for a while.

Sounds like a plan if I am in town. I have not been keeping much beer in the fridge lately but could probably make sure there was some Anchor Steam in there given a bit of notice.

We already have it in 'Links', but a lot of people probably don't know that. Now they will see it.

Most of the time I must stay with my father, who is very old, Jose, but I will go for a ride on the White Pearl if possible. I had a short but good ride into the city yesterday.
