The pix are actually off a 900ss (97 ) clutch basket that I have as a spare . the paso one is as you describe and flatter in the bottom of the grooves. My 906 has the slave cylinder in the clutch cover , not on the left side of the motor as the SS is ( may be the 907 too .... dunno ) and the baskets are not interchangable as the 906 makes use of a large circlip to retain the clutch pack , the ss basket does not have the nessessary groove to locate said circlip

The later 906s have the slave cylinder on the left side of the engine, as the 907s.

. sort of , great weather but cant ride a bike . Di bought me an exercycle that I cant even get on let alone peddle, much to her amusement. I was sorely tempted to suggest that a spin on it wouldnt do her any harm , but I think I'll save that till I can run a bit faster
