hi Higgy,

thanks for the offer, but I think the file I have will do the job.
I peeled the sticker from my fork leg to act as a example, which worked well.

And to you Davo, thanks for your address.
I hope to send the decalls to you soon.

The stock ones are not so good.
Even on the best bike, often those stickers look bad.

is this how it originally looks like ?

I`m unsure of is if there was a red frame around it. Also I think the red letters filled out their black borders completely without having a clear gap between them like on this Laverda M1R sticker.

(there`s a small clear arc in the M and green field)

Thanks G.

very clear picture.
I believe there is a red frame around and the red letters are not completely filled out in their black frame.
in the decal on the 906/907's there's also an arc in the "M" from Marzocchi.
What I see is that the layout is very much the same as with the blue ones.
The only thing what remains is a code of the colours red and green.
Can you check this with a RAL colour code chart?

I do only have a Pantone formula guide. Comparing to the picture doesn`t make much sense as the monitor is not calibrated and the colours of the pic are probably also a bit off. I don`t have any original sticker either.

The best would probably be to visit a printshop with a sticker and let them figure out, also because usually the have a special desk with neutral light for doing such colour matching.

Yes G.,
I know, but in that case I need a sticker or parts from it.
And this sticker musn't show discolouration. otherwise it's unuseable.
The printer guy wrote he had seen the red/green one. So, I hope he can find the red/green colours.
I had a appointment with him this evening, but I'm not sure I can make it.
If you find something you think it might help, it's highly appreciated. :D

I thought you peeled off your sticker or was that one no good and only used for size and font size measurements ?
What you`re looking for is actually a new original sticker which is probably impossible to find :)
The only chance I see to match the original colours perfectly would be to buy an existing set of Marzocchi stickers like the ones on this page:

That would mean a small investment in your project though. Let everyone pay $1 more and it`s back in

I`ll drop by my dealer tomorrow taking my colour chart with me, maybe he can help.

G.

PS: I`ve just asked if the ones shown are originals or not.

I was looking on the web for white M1R decals on clear background and found that Sue at email isayisaydingdong@aol.com could supply Red/Green ones that look quite good. I would post pics but not good on tech stuff! If that is what some are looking for it is worth getting in touch with her.
