Hi
I started the thread, I better as well stop it.
First of all I would say, what a forum! There so much knowledge in this forum, I am really impressed.
Good I am lucky to be an 907 owner :)
I started the thread by couroisity, just to get knowledge and usefull info.
Thanks everybody!

My 907 have irractic iddle, like it`s "8 stroking". My dignasose is of this syndrome is faulty injectors. Thanks too the forum. I will have the injectors tested soon. As it`s winter and snow here in Norway now and I still have a few months to sort it out.

I took of the cyl. head last weekend, just for inspection, the cylinders look ok, no edges on TDC, there are still visible markres after org. honing. Vavles look ok, have not inspected the seats yet. Exhaust valveseat does not looks like they have been knocked down in the cyl.head.
Clock says 68000 km. :)

You make my cry!!

Ottovalvole, you may check your exhaust valve guides as well, as they are prone to wear over time.
my 907 has cover just over 60.000 and after this season I've to replace them.
the season has started here in the Netherlands with tempertures of over 10 degree Celsius and sunny weather.

Hi Bertus
Yes, I am aware of the guides, the heads are off and it looks like not bad at all. Valves/seats does seems ok, but will take out the valves for a closer inspection.

Weatherforecast for North of Norway: 5-10 dgr.C below, 1oo cm or so with snow. The sun came back on the 22. jan. after 3 months of absens. Spring is in the air  ! Where is my shades  :) !
