907ie piston rings

Post by baja »

hi all.

I need to now change my 907ie piston rings after all these years excellent of service. but due to my present location (Malaysia) and the availability of 907 parts, I need assistance/pointers for reliable online source.

I'd also appreciate it you have the approx. price as my guide on what I'd be expecting to fork out.

Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how good your nearest Duc dealer will be but I DO know that Gowanloch in Australia has had everything I've ever need AND gotten me the part in less time than major US dealers.

yes i have tried to deal with Next Bike previously for an 888 which is a keeper (and therefore no rush) but there is serious lacking in their sense of urgency. I tried ordering parts thro them once and it took them 1.5 years to respond !!! my 907 is a commuter and I need her back in the road asap - so I'm not going that route for this one.

As for Gowanloch's, they're great and I've bought from them previously but that was in person not online. Don't want to fly there just for rings - but If they have an online service I'll give that a shot.

Thanks finnpaso + beemerboy
