Unleaded fuel

Hi everyone, I bought a 1990 906 Paso a couple of month ago. The seller of the bike told be that unleaded fuel (95 octan) would be fine. However, in the download section I read a couple of old tests concerning the 906 Paso and they say, the bike does not run with unleaded fuel. May anybody help me in this question? Thanks a lot and keep on riding!
