Hello Pasofriends. Recently my Paso has broken the speedo part situated in the front wheel (I don't know the correct name in english). I have read that this part is like one fitted in a Aprilia bike, but I can't remeber wich model, and where I have read it. Can you help me?

That part is called the speedometer drive or speedo drive. I have no idea what other bikes parts will fit.

I would contact some race shops, most racers take the speedo drive off and substitute an aluminum spacer, somebody must have a stack of them somewhere!

You mean this?

There's a ratio number punched in the body, mine is 21/12 and refers to the gear inside it.
I happened the same thing and I went searching to an "used spare parts fair" (is there a sigle word for this?)
You must take care not to find a left spinning speedo, even if a similar ratio (such as 19/11) will do

the speedo angledrive of the Aprilia RS125 was mentioned once on the mailing list.
I wonder if that is correct though as I think the 125 has 17" wheels, doesn`t it ?

Thank you. I'll go to an Aprilia dealer with my broken speedometer. I'll remeber the ratio, Ducapaso.
Paso 750, Aprilia RS 125 has a 110/17 tire, maybe it is aproximately like 130/60-16 perimeter. I use in my Paso 130/70-16.
