This is an old installation but I have the body work off now to clean things up and get the bike back on the road, so I thought I'd share it.
I added an air horn because of too many close calls, and bike horns just don't cut it sometimes. Some might argue it is a silly addition, but I feel better having it.
Compressor mounted to the right down tube...I think that was the original horn location (it's been so long).

Brackets were from snatched from some truck mirror parts. Flat stock was what came in another electric horn. The brackets fit nicely around the frame.

It all fits in there. I will clean up the installation a bit by reversaing the bolts and trimming the relay screw down flush. It must have been cold out when I did this BITD.

are those the ones which play "la Cucharacha" ?
Seems like they`ve replaced the carbs. I guess good car horns would do a good job, too and need a bit less space and no compressor.

But car air horns wouldn't be nearly as cool! I had a set of air horns in my old Fiat Spyder, when I finally came to my senses and replaced the car with a Mazda Miata, I kept the air horns; they're still in the Miata to this day, 16 years later!
A friend of mine who used to help me fix the car (Fix It Again Tony-FIAT, right) used to say that the horns were tuned for maximum attention by women. Well, that's not exactly what he said, but that's the cleaned up version.
Oh, don't forget to oil your horn every 3,000mi, and overhaul every 12,000(just open it and clean it, really)(no I'm not kidding)...

Michael,
why have you replaced your FIAT Spyder with a Mazda?
Have you had some issue with it?
I love the FIAT 124 Spyder and I would buy a good one.
I hope the Paso electrics can do this extra work with this (phoenix) horns... like "The Heart, Wind & Fire" which also I love.

If I could only get it to play Amore. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie....
No musical horn for me , it's just the two notes blending. I do confess to having had an aaaoooogah! horn once, though.

Why not?
If you want to remain in the classic Italian songs, you could also play: Volare... ooohhhh, ooohhhh.... :funny: :funny: :funny:
...hoping the wires don't start to melt....

I KNEW that crack about FIAT was going to get me in trouble...
Yes, I replaced my Fiat with a Miata, my 124 was the most beautiful car I ever owned, but the reliability just wasn't there. Many times it would just stop while running down the road; but then I discovered where to hit the relay panel with my shoe, it used to hang up switching from the starting points to the running points when cold.
When the rear main seal started leaking oil, I knew it was time to let it go.
I also had several 850 Spiders, that was a cute little car! Only a 2 seater, though, and man did that thing warp heads!
