The accurate clock is obviously a major plus point for 907's!

"major"??? Wow, my priority list would have accurate clock waaay down on the list. I've disabled mine and if i ran across new one for $!.00 would have to pass it up as i know the potential misery it can cause.

So all you science majors out there...why is it a battery powered clock can live on your wall for months and this little guy will suck the life out of your bike's unsuspecting battery
I'm thinking that when I get bored enough I'm gonna put a meter on just to see what the current draw is. I disconnect the battery on my 5.0 when not in use as the 'puter draws juice

Keep in mind, my clock was NOT keeping time and made strange noises. Draw would not be the same as good unit.

Obviously your clock is broken: the mine works well and keeps the time.
I agree with you that this isn't the most important issue and, no matter, the clock drain very much the battery.
But, I think that the clock is a characteristic of the dashboard and of the whole bike.
So, I would fix it, even if someone can think different.
