Hello,
Finally after three years of hiring japanese bikes, I got myself my own bike: 1988 paso 750.
She's still standard, with the weber. She's running very good, no hesitating untill 3000rpm or so, sometimes while stopping she'll try to stall, but it's ok. After replacing the belts by new ones, and adjusting the valves, my first mod will be 17inchers, and a new dash.

That is a very tidy looking Paso, congratulations on the purchase. Don't be in too much of a hurry to replace teh 16 inch rims. Sure original tyres (Michelins) are getting harder to source but they are still available & there are options such as Bridgestone Battlax & other things that will fit with minimal mods. The 16inchers do give the old girls a sure foot on the road & are sweet in the twisties.
Nice bike

Yes, is so.
Until the tyres will be available...
No matter, the Weber could be replaced

Actually modifiy kits by marzocchi are still available new for about 750 € with dell'orto 40mm or 550 € with dell'orto 36 mm but you might find used parts for a cheaper price.
Upgrading electrical plant wiil be cheaper, see 750 paso faq on this forum.

Marzocchi kit?
Are you sure, Nicola? It seems to me a little bit strange.
Dehaas,
you also could fit the Mikuni carburetors of the SS or Monster 900.

Very nice looking in the yellow.
Why do you want to change the dash?

very pretty bike! but I have some confusion about the color. As far as I knew the pasos only came in red, white, and blue. I've seen lots of differnt colored pasos, are they all repainted or did ducati make more than the original three colors?

Anything other than what you have listed is a repaint.

:ugh:
I'm very sorry for my mistake! Marzocchi is a producer of suspension and Malossi of racing kits!
Hope you can forgive me!

Thanx for the compliments. I would like to install a set of dellortos but you very often see just the carb's. So wich manifold should I use?
And there's one thing that bothers me: The hydraulic clutch doesn't work properly. When I pull the lever to its max at a trafficlight i.e. the bike still wants to go a bit. How to adjust?
