How fast is fast?

The ducati 906 Paso reportedly has a top speed usally of 214km/h, during a place and time last weekend i got mine over 225km/hr...was no wind and if i had a longer road i reckon i would have went faster ( possibly?)..........i dont agrre with that type of speed most days, but i just wanted to see what it could do stock standard with 95 octane.........................................................
what have you guys had yours upto?

I have found that most speedometers on Ducs are very optimistic with regard to speed. Did you record the speed with a GPS unit or the speedo?
For example, my 748 shows 12% fast. The 750 Paso 8% and my Multi 3% too fast. The Cadet has a top speed of 50MPH and that is WAY too fast :-)

GPS is best way to check speedometer...

Went for a ride with friends back in April, along the Thunderbolts way to Wauchope (Redpaso will know).
My wife Lynn on the back, topbox in company of a Honda ST1100 (2 up) and a Honda CBR900RR. They claimed 230kph, my speedo would not advance past 210, but calculating the tacho worked out at 220kph. That is fairly accurate as I have I have the 70 profile front tyre which makes the spedo accurate at normal speeds, as per timed over a measured distance.
