My 1988 Paso 750 is in need of a starter motor. It is an ND 128000-3280. The armature in the starter is destroyed, so I need either the armature or else a replacement starter--a used one might also work for parts. Can someone help out? It would be great if I knew what this starter motor also fit. Obviously, it is of Japanese manufacture, so what else was it used on? Any recommendations as to who/where in the US could I send the starter or get the armature from. I have a great tech locally who could fix it if we could find the part.

I don't think the starter is from any other bike. Ebay is the best source for these parts. Even then you are buying a used part...
