Hi everyone, this site is great! I don't have a Paso, but I do have a distant cousin - just picked up a 1990 750 Sport. I have a '99 Monster 750, and my uncle & I went in together and bought this bike for a "spare" to have around when he comes in to visit. It's in pretty good shape overall. 8500 miles, aftermarket pipes, Mikunis, and a little bling:

I'm looking to take it back closer to stock with regard to the turn signal housings, hand grips, and pipes if we can find them. The pipes are pretty trashed after a low speed crash on the left side. The turn signals are all those cheesy fake-carbon that you get from Lockhart-Phillips. Maybe OK for a 250 Ninja but doesn't work for me . Of the two biggest complaints, weber and tires, one has been solved for me, but this tire thing is driving me nuts. The bike has the stock sized A59X and a 170/70 on the rear.
I'm looking for anything other than the Michelins. I rode a 907ie a few years ago with them and wasn't impressed (but the roads were gritty and it poured so it might not have been just the tires).
I was reading through the 750 Paso Technical FAQ section and of course the GSXR wheel swap caught my eye. I followed the links but it seems they are all broken now. I am very interested in this conversion... anyone tried it?
Are there many other 750 Sport owners out here? I saw at least one... yellerduck you still out here?
