POd filter

After the mikuni upgrade i want to buy 2 pod filter,but i don't know the exact measurment that they have to do,i bought two sport filter from an auto tuning shop,but they are too big :sad:
i don't lose money but now i have to order two filter in these shop....
Help requred :confused: :confused: :confused:

I have K&N filters on my Paso but that is with Dellorto carbs. Here is a link to the K&N site with info on these filters. You will have to measure the inlet outer diameter and match them up.

Klaus, WHITCH of those modell fits to Mikunis??? I dont have yet Mikunis(maybe soon), only 40mm Dellortos fitted and Webers(in garrage shelves)... But i must think future also... :evil:

POD 57 mm.

If you are mounting direct to the mikuni, the 57 mm. will fit. But I am not sure of the clearens inside the tank. I am making a swep above the mikuni some thing like on the picture belowe.

So, from WHERE are coming those white air intake manifolds to fit filters? Looks, that it can function well with pod filters and seems, that enough small system to fit under Paso tank... :thumbup: Btw, is It You, Klaus in that one foto sitting in Paso? Not so bad! :thumbup:

sweeps look like PVC plastic piping. 180 degree bends.

Hey there ducapiero,

Foam pods work just fine as long as the diameter is correct. I used Unifilter pods for the Mikunis, type PK79, refer to http://www.unifilter.com.au for more details.
