Hello Paso Forum,

I am Karel from the Netherlands and have just bought a Paso.
It was very cheap €200, see picture.
It looks very bad, but need a bit of work.
So I can now make the Paso a special bike.
It will become an naked Paso.
The original engine is dead, now I have and ST2 engine in the Paso.
The Paso needs new paint and then put together.
I can put more pictures when I am rebuilding the bike.

Greetings,

Karel.

So I have bought the Paso.

Welcome to the board!

I'm sure you can get a lot of assistance from the members of this board with your new project. An ST2 engine in a Paso sounds like an interesting engine swap. Installing some upside-down Showa forks and 17" wheels with 320mm Brembo rotors and calipers would make for some more additional improvements.

I'm currently working on a functional restoration of my Paso, and hoping to do some upgrading once I get it back running and on the road for a few thousand miles.

I wish you luck with your Paso Project!

Edit - What kind of brake rotors are on the front wheel? They don't look like the rotors on my Paso.

Welcome Karel,
I hope you enjoy your Paso and this forum  .
Here I've found many good pieces of advice and many friends.

They seem to me the full floater ones of the 750 F1, 750 sport and the early 16" 851.

Welcome Karel!

That ST2 engine in 750 paso frame is very intresting project, but have U measured, that front wheen dont hit to engine, sorry to radiator, if need to brake very hardly? Where/how U are planning to put radiator? Anyway, Your Paso need after that modification ALSO update to front brakes... How You swap M16 ECU to Paso electrics??? ST2 harness??? As U see, many very intresting questions...

Hallo,

I put here some pictures so you can see it.
I also use the complete ST2 harness, ST2 throttle body's, ST 2 Clocks Speedo and Revcounter, ST2 handle bar switches, ST2 rectifier regulator and more.

It will become a Naked Paso ST2.

I am now making every thing to fit well.
So may be next week it can go for some new paint.

Greeting,

Mister naked Paso ST2

Very interesting    , but also huge work to made all that stuff.

Caution with the front wheel, it really could hit the radiator.

Having to do all that work, perhaps I would have fixed a desmoquattro engine :lick: :lick: :lick: .

Let us see your progress.

From where You get that flat radiador, cause ST2 have curved one? I think, U need curved radiator, that it dont hit to front wheel in hard braking....

How U planned to solve airbox system? Does ST airbox fit under Paso fuel tank? Air feed to airbox?

Frankie: better/much easier to find some Desmoquatro, like 851/888/ST4, but if go to 851/888 series, then ONLY some SP modells...

It will become a Naked Paso ST2.

So, it will be VERY CLOSE to 907IE(Paso) with big bore kit (944cc with ST2 cylinders and pistons), but naked...

What did you do with the old engine? I wish I lived closer to you to justify buying it off of you or buying some parts from it.
