Michelin re-invent the 16" front wheel

There's hope for us yet. Michelin racing chief Jean Philippe Weber has declared that all Michelin MotoGP riders will have the new 16" front rubber this year. So all we have to do is hang around a few GP meetings and get some cast offs from the Michelin tyre truck.

with the numerous alternatives of front tires the really interesting would be a matching rear

It's so, but I think if the 16" wheels will come back on the race bikes, they will come back also on the street bikes.
So, it could be an hope!
