Hi guys

my clutch suddenly gave up on me without any type of warning so after reading here on the forum it looks like I need some help to find a clutch master cylinder rebuild kit, can any body give me some links.

Needs to be shipped to denmark where I live.

(and yes I have bled the clutch for any air bubbles but things are still the same)

Thanks for any help you can give me

Trying to get the kit from a ducati dealer was of course my first thought, but I was under the impression that it would be very expensive there.

Maybe it is not so expensive after all and I will of course checkout the price.
I just thought maybe as with many other things it would be cheaper and easier to buy it online.

In one of the posts in the forum there was a guy that bought a kit for $26 but the dealer at the same time told him that there was a price increase on the way which could raise the price as high as $60

Hej Du!

I had not such a good experience with the rebuild kit.
It kept leaking on the new bodywork.
I bought a new hydraulic master clutch part. No more leaks now.

Still an ongoing problem at the moment, took the whole clutch master slave assembly to my mc mechanic and we found what we thought was the problem (the piston not being pushed in enough during operation) but after reassembling everything I still had the same problem.

Good thing is I think now I have found the problem, it is with the small rubber rubber gasket that makes the airtight seal in the cylinder. I think this must be worn out (even though it looks ok) because fluid seems to be escaping past this seal. Hopefully I can get hold of just this small rubber seal somewhere.

Ok, at last, all working again

Fry,

I have the exact same problem, the rubber gasket looks brand new, but it's not holding a seal.

I saw the following post http://ducatipaso.org/modules.php?name= ... opic&t=676 but I have the slightest ideal what size I need.

Did you go with an o-ring or did you get a x-ring/quad ring?

Fry's problem is with the master cylinder. The one you are linking to is regarding the slave cylinder. I you have a problem with the slave cylinder please read this link" http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic. ... ight=#9000
