Today, my wife forced me in a wellness center

.
For the first time in my life, I went in a Finn sauna...
85C and 15% humidity. I believed I would have beed died    . How much I sweated...
Besides, I put down my glasses on the bench... When I took it again, my hand was burnt    !!!!
Here in Italy, I already sweat too much, so I think is a good thing only where the weather is more cold.
Antti, without ill feeling :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: .
Or is there some secret trick to survive?

Answer is very simple! That 15% is surely too low !!!!!! It should be at least 60-70%(80-98% is better) and fresh air coming all time to Sauna with good ventilation..... Come her to "taste good sauna", Frankie dear....    ... surely with Koskenkorva, or Finlandia Vodka! Surely those help to survie....
Btw, if sooo low humidity, U have visited "swedish sauna", NOT Finnish one... :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: In such "swedish" its hard to survie, but You can be in good Fin Sauna very long time.... AND BREATH there!   That is most important difference between swedish and Finnish Sauna...

I have been in some swedish Saunas and every time suffred from too low humidity.... :funny: But surely life is sometimes also suffering....
Btw, Frankie, let glasses out from Sauna, You dont need to look allways girls !!!!!

Francesco,
Well done, your first attempt, so no longer a sauna virgin. You need plenty of time for sauna, here are some hints;
http://www.cyberbohemia.com/Pages/usingthesauna.htm
As Antti says, a good sauna needs plenty of ventilation and also plenty of time to go through the heating and cooling cycle.
I think there is really only one solution, you need to go to Finland or come here to New Zealand and we can give instruction. Happy to let you use my sauna.

I'm really incompetent!
So, it wasn't a good sauna...
No ventilation, nor Koskenkorva nor Vodka ( :funny: ), the only nice thing was a good wood smell!!!
It's true.
When I went in Turkey, I made a Turkish bath. Wonderful experience

.
When I went in Italy in a "Turkish bath"....
So, I'm no more virgin, but I need a nicer Finn experience!

Isnt that enough for You? I mean, that You managed find some Fin woman to add to mail and U want MORE???? :funny: :funny: :funny:
...propably You have to choose "very hot Finn Sauna", OR that typical lady from Finland...

...some notes from "Frasers web site":
"A Finnish doctor said, "Keep your juices to yourself." => that means: "masturbation is NOT allowed in Finn Sauna"
"•Another pleasure is whisking with the vihta. On a Saturday afternoon sounds of birch hitting flesh whispers throughout Finland. Finns consider a sauna without a vihta like a meal without salt." => again right!
" In Finland, an entire Saturday afternoon is traditionally set aside for sauna and related activities." => "related activities" means making love....
