how many oil in the motor??

Hey guys i changed oil this morning i put in 3 lt of elf semi-synthethic but the oil appearstoo much trough the inspection glass
when the bike is straight.....
i repeat i pit in 3 lt and othe person says to me a ducati take 3,2 lt of oil .......
who is right????
i don't want to put too oil in my baby....

About 3 is usually good for me due to the oil coolers that don't drain. Run ity get it warm and make sure the coolers are warm and check again.

Piero, did U change also filter??? It takes also some 0,3L and filter MUST be changed every time. Filters are very cheap, so its not so wise to "save money" in that filter. Remember also take part of frame away and check that another filter in right side of engine... and surely take away all metal from draining magnetic screw...

obviously i changed the oil filter but i can't find the way to take out the iron side filter ,and i prefer to do not damage the screw with an unappropriate tool...
in total maybe 3,1 lt with the filter full...
