meanwhile in Catalunya
from Speed
In the hottest race of the season so far, Casey Stoner has scorched to a stunning, tension-filled victory in the Catalunya Grand Prix. The 21 year-old Australian claimed his fourth win of the season after a titanic three-way battle that included Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa.

After a tense, late race contest over the final six laps, Stoner’s Ducati finished just 0.069s ahead of Yamaha-mounted Rossi with Pedrosa’s Honda in third, a further 0.2s behind. It was a classic contest in Catalunya, easily the best race of the season with multiple lead changes in hot summer weather

YES!!
An absolute blinder of a race. The race was live here in NZ at about 0:30am Monday morning, so taped it and watched it Monday night. Didn't bother with the timer just pressed record and went to bed. So the 3 hour tape ran to 3hours and 4 minutes; the race finished 1 minute before the tape ended. Made it.

I had to make the choice between the Canadian F-1 race and the Moto GP as I had to go out, hopefully they will rebroadcast it later in the week as it sounded amazing. Stoner appears to be the real deal
