Tire Prob`s? Here is my solution...

Hello to everybody. Please, sorry for my bad english - but it`s the keyboard...
I want to show you my solution for the tire problem. I drive a 750 Sport (1990) but the problem is the same as for the Paso. I called lot`s of Tire Manufacturers in Germany (Pirelli, Metzeler, Michelin, Bridgestone, Avon, Ducati-Germany) for tires in the original dimensions (front 130/60-16, back 160/60-16) but nobody may help me.
The alternative dimensions (front 130/70-16, back 150/80-16) are too bad. It`s quite dangerous to drive with!!!
So i buyed (Internet aftermarked) the 17" (inch ?! Zoll ... uknow what i mean... ) 3 Spoke Brembo`s and rebuild the front with the USD fork of an ST2 Model completed with 4 cylinder and 320 mm brakes. The rear wheel is from a Monster because of the 17 cm axle so i haven`t work at the back. The original look... ok, ok... it`s gone. But with the new "Michelin Pilot" tires... i felt the first time like "Foggy" or "Doohan" or "The Doctor" and so on and so on.... :funny:
So, if you want to drive your bikecycle secure... do even so like me...
I`m very proud of it because it`s the first time that i related such "customizing".
"May the force be with you!"
:screwy:

Unfortunately....

You made a good work, even if the bike looked better before, but I agree with who told that, if everybody swap to 17" wheels, Michelin will build no more the 16" tires!

So, since you have a rare vintage bike, don't stop searching the Michelin A/M 59, even to preserve the original look.

Good look!
