I believe my voltage regulator is dead on my 1988 750 Paso. What can I do to get up and running again? Can I replace it with a different brand? Maybe one that cost less, readily available and is more stable???
Thanks,
Mike

The well known Electrex RR51 is the best choice to replace the stock regulator.

Hi my regulator "RR51"broke down in the start of the season (I am from Denmark, we cant ride all year) and i have replace my with a "home made" one. I didn’t make it but a wizard in Copenhagen, which only repairs and make generator stators and regulator. It has no warning indicator, but I have been told that it should be one of the best on the market and reasonably priced, 90 euro. My other RR51 unit only lasted 2 months driving

But the RR51 is the only one on the market, as understand.
Regards

The RR51 is known to be better than the stock unit, but it can happen that one is defective.
I know the Electrex has a good customer service, try to have it replaced.
