wiring issues

I posted earlier about melted wires, but have since come across more issues, hopefully someone can shed some light on whats going on. I noticed that when I brake that my headlight dims, and also when one of my blinkers are not working that the headlight dims with blinker. I have cleaned the frame grounds to shiny metal, replaced electrical connections on the big main power wire under instrument cluster because it was melted, went about 300 miles and is starting to melt again. Also bike idled fine for the first couple of weeks of riding and now it idles around 2000 rpm, any ideas on this? What are some of the common problems with this bike ( 92 Paso 907)? The mechanicals are perfect now, I just replaced complete clutch assembly, adjusted valves with new belts, flushed coolant, new chain and sprockets, fork oil and dust seals, new tach cable, new battery, everything was working great for a couple hundred miles now things are acting up. Thanx, Jamie

The main electric issue of these bikes is on the regulator.
Have you tried to check the current on the battery when the engine is running?
If you have too much high voltage on the battery (over 15V at 5000 RPM), the regulator is broken and your wires and connections melt and also the battery will broke soon.
Let us know.
