Hi Folks,

Good morning. I'm new to the board and just wanted to say "hey"! I live in central North Carolina, USA and I bought my Paso in 1992. I've got an old `88 750 that I'm currently "re-streeting". She's been off-the-road for about 4 years now... ouch! So I'll probably be in here asking advice and looking for parts. Hopefully, I'll be able to help you guys and girls a bit, too. Take care and I look forward to chatting with you.

Peace,

John

Welcome to the board, John. I also am working on putting an old Paso back on the street after 3+ years. I'm almost done.....after a year of tinkering with it. BTW, I'm just a short distance from you.....in Easley, SC.

Here's the mess of a Paso that I've been working on....

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the warm welcomes! Too bad there aren't more girls here, ha!!! Oh, and Mr. Demon... nice write-up. I'm sure I'll find it helpful, so thanks in advance. I have a cousin who lives in Simpsonville, so maybe we'll be able to get together one day. Hope so!

I'd like to meet you other guys, too, so please don't get upset. It's just that DesmoDemon is quite a bit closer to home! :D

Some of you may be wondering, so a picture of my bike (from about 10 years ago) is here:

I see most have listed them too, so my other rides are:
1984 R100 (steet)
1975 RD400 (track)
1981 XR100 (dirt)

Ride safe guys, and I'm sure I'll be chatting with you soon.

Peace, love, and puppies,

John

I think, that they are "swapped " from Lacuna Seca. My "F1 friend" wanted to sell such to me some years ago, but i didnt buy, just, cause cant put 16" Michelins to those rims. Too narrow rear rim to low profile rear 16" Michelin....
