I have now opportunity to buy one 40 000kms driven red "Kokusan"750 Paso for 1100-1200€. Its in quite good condition, but engine is in pieces caused one gearbox problem(what is fixed now). So, engine need to rebuilt, but all pieces are in safe place. I go to see her maybe thursday eve and see details then. Owner dont have time/money to rebuild engine, so he called to me, that he want it to "good home", not to wreck bike! All depends real condition of fairings, dashboard, rear light assy, etc. Btw, it have near new 16" Michelin in rear... Maybe again some Paso project next winter?... To my older son for first Ducati, OR for future... As many knows, i was looking 350cc Supersport, but this can change things now.... We shall see.....

Antti,
You should get it! Maybe as a future bike for No.1 son, maybe as a winter project, maybe as a source of spare parts. Enough maybes, you really need this.

For me, 1100€ for a bike with broken engine, is not a good price :ugh:
If you're lucky and you find another engine complete, it might cost at least 300 € + job + service (belts, oil, plugs, valve clearance...)

Engine is not broken, but its only opened and gearbox is now fixed.... It have full papers and it ready for street use(after engine rebuild), no need to register, or anything such.... We shall see after thursday eve......

If you do engine work all the time, then its an acceptable price, but barely. Offer him much less, as he will have a difficult time selling it for much more than 500-600 on the open market.

Always good to make friends with the new owner, and help him get the bike running. In a year or so when he gets bored with it, he will think of you first. Everything is for sale, but it may take a while to go on the market.

Pasochist or Masochist that is the Question?
Maybe in your " What do you Do " post I misread and you actually are Jesus Christ, and able to ressurect motorcycles with Passion And Drive, without financial constriction, you can't be married, or is it so? If you come to Australia I will provide you with board and lodgings to Excorcise the Demons in my antique bike collection. I will also find room at the Inn for your Mum and Dad, the beers on me!,
Best fun from Tasmania,
P.S..Don't worry about the Loaves and the Fishes stuff,
Could you please turn my 1969 350 Desmo into a 1974 750ssGreenframe,

Better still I will find an old Honda to do the conversion ,Ta
Thank You, your Royal Omniprescence
