Hey you guys in the good old US of A, anyone got some suggestions on where to source a clutch plate kit.

There were a couple of sugestions on the clutch topic I started but the onyl one that was correct was in England and the exchange rate there is crap.

I see somewhere I can get a late model Barnett pack for US $145 which with current rates would be under $200 AUD landed here. Unfortunately Barnett do not do the earlier kit.

I've been quoted over $300 AUD for the correct kit over here and don't even know what brand it is.

I looked at that link of yours the other day eliatt thanks but it would appear to be for the later models and my understanding from some Ducati shop people that the plate sets are different.

My understanding is that the frictions and steels may be the same but the thicker driving plate and the thicker steels and number of sprung plates is different.

Haven't emailed FBF yet to see if they do a specific kit for the earlier bikes.

I emailed Baines in the UK but they are not much cheaper than buying here and when you add some of the silly freight prices coming out of the UK lately it would be much dearer.

Asked around abit today and seems like the 750 clutch is like all of the 90`s ones.
Just buy a dry clutch pack f a Ducati, only some new R/RS models have something else.

Gert does that go for the 906 motor. Is the 906 clutch the same as the 750. My clutch issues are with an 89 900SS. I've posted my clutch topics in the 750 forum as there seems to be far more response here.

Are all the plates in the later kit the same. That would be good if it were as I've seen someone on ebay selling Barnett packs for $145 US which works out very good at the moment in Australian dollars.

Don't want to ge the wrong thing though otherwise it's still wasted money.

I`ve checked w 750 & in my 907, an old -90`s Monster /SS clutchpack fits.
I can`t imagine that Ducati would fit another type of dry clutch in the 906. But doublecheck just to be sure. Just check spare part number.
