left switch block query

Does anyone know if a left hand switch block off a 2003 900ss will fit a 907? Mine is damaged and I need something that will fit.

Also I have an opportunity to buy a reconditioned dash (in better condition than mine) but they are asking for offers. Has anyone got an idea what price I should offer for it?

Also looking for a rear light / indicators cover for a 907 should anyone know where to find one.

Cheers,
Graeme 907ie.

The SS series until 1999 fit the same switch block of the Pasos.
The later series fit a different switch, but if you have some electrical skill, you should fit it without problems.

I bought a new dash for 125 €. If it's used you can offer the half price. No matter, it seems to me now there is a new dash on eBay, while the rear light cover is on eBay now for sure.

Ciao

Thanks for the information. It helps alot to ask the right people. Yes I am keeping an eye on ebay 907 parts. Someone has obviously dismantled one so there are a few things for sale at present.

For me to purchase parts from US or Europe is quite expensive with high freight costs so I will try closer to home. I think the dash on ebay is used, the description suggests it would be ok for parts.

Cheers

I have a left hand switch assembly that I will sell. I took it off my 907IE last year to replace with the Euro version. It is in perfect working order, let me know if interested. My zip is 01748 if you want to get a shipping quote.

May I ask what the difference is between what you have for sale and the Euro version?
I require the usual lights, indicator, high / low beam, horn and choke.
I can't see how there can be different versions for different parts of the world.
But then there is stacks of stuff I don't know so its probably in that lot.

However I am interested. I assume you are in the US.

Hi Graeme,

the difference beetween the Euro/US version is that the Euro type allows to turn out the lights, while the US version lets the lights always on.

I didn't realize you are in New Zealand! The extra switch is to the right of the hi/lo switch on the Euro, I wired that switch so I can run 1 low beam, two low beams, or both highs with the dual headlight conversion. Anyway the Euro switch is Ducati #036138456, it was $105 US last year. Good luck!
