Mirrors

When I bought my Paso in July, one of my first postings to this forum was to ask about mirrors. I think I have found an ideal solution for mirrors to use when riding with a passenger.

When I was looking for clutch master cylinder parts, I saw that Brembo has clutch lever + master cylinder units with mirror mounts. Assuming that the mirror mounts are just threaded holes that take standard mirrors, and that they also have the right side brake lever + master cylinder units with mirror mounts, it seems that replacing the stock units with these would be a good solution for adding mirrors for riding with a passenger, or for touring. When going for a ride with a passenger, just add a second set of ordinary mirrors. Afterwards, remove the mirrors and put plastic caps into the mirror mount holes. If you ride alone most of the time, this seems like an excellent solution.

Those mirrors' mounts can be found also as spare parts.

But, I think the Paso with them wouldn't look too good

some pasos have oem mirror mounts in pumps bracket.
If you find such a mount on a spare brake :| pump, be sure it's a 15 or 16 mm piston diameter, as it might be the 13mm suitable for monster 600

Have to put guys now "to ground":

I have just those threads in lever systems, that there is that "possibility" to put some aftermarket mirrors, BUT i tested it some years ago and problem is, that those aftermarket mirrors hit to front fairing inside surface, when turning handelbars to more right/left! I had one very good looking carbon fibre mirror pair, but i realized, that at least that didnt function at all...

We are condemned not knowing what's happening at the back.

Only we can glance at the legs (it would like to think nice) of our passenger        .

Frankie wanted, that i comment(!!!): I really dont know about You guys, buy at least i can see ONLY PRETTY LEGS, if i take some women/girl there. As You maybe know, one of nicest places, what woman have, are long pretty legs and thin ankles(surely with high heels and tight black leather trousers !!!). Btw, if talking about ankles, they SHOULD be "so" thin, that You can wrap around it with Your hand by using 2 fingers so, that You can JUST touch fingers together.... :D Do You need to know anything more?

Btw, very hard weekend: 2 "small christmas partys", first friday night and last saturday night. Havent slept so much... Just from Sauna(no need to take anymore Koskenkorva) and ready to sleep, so good night to everybody

Saturday, here there were 20° C and great weather.
Great trip on the "litoranea" (a street along the sea) Ostia-Anzio, with the stunning coastal dunes.
Very low speed (I always am afraid of the sand on the street), but very big liking.

You will not believe in me, but a dealer told me: " Paso is the only ducati that let me see what's happening in the back!"
Maybe he meant sbk series!

You could use a bar end like the CRG Hindsight 3" mirror. The bar end would have to be drilled if you want them out beyond your hands, you know for big chested passengers
