From one Ducati forum:

"The Digiplex was repaired by Techauto in the States. E-mail Don on tech@autoecu.com for more details. The repair was $249 and comes with a 2 year guarentee.

The coils swap has been advised by many people and this link gives more details."

I have Marelli Digilpex on my 88 paso but I don't know it's pro and cons. Can anybody explain it to me? Is this like a hotter spark ouput kind of thing?

I don`t think anyone can explain pro and cons of the Digiplex ignition compared to the Kokusan. Only a low number of 750s had that. On the 906 there was only the Digiplex used.
The main con is that replacement can be difficult and expensive. That`s all I know.

Does the M D also have 2 pickups on the flywheel as the Kokusan?
