I'm trying to locate chain sliders for my Paso but they tell me that they don't even make them any more! Can anybody tell me of a place I may find them? (The chain sliders consist of the one on the centerstand and the other is above the swing arm pivot). I have replaced both sprockets and chain, but the sliders are worn down to the point that the chain will sag really low.Please help!

If you still have the old ones, the little one mounted on the bottom section of the frame would probably be easy to get a machinist make out of nylon or delrin. The one on my Paso was missing and the chain was cutting into the frame. I took the slider out of a spare frame I have and all is well. As for the one on top of the swingarm.....I was told about a year ago that they were still available, but they were almost $50 USD, so I passed and have just been reusing the old one. You could probably get someone to machine one of those, also.....or find one from another bike and retrofit it. I was thinking about drilling and tapping a couple of holes and mounting the ones from an ST2 to the 907 swingarm that I have.

I though about that (having them made). I will try to machine them out of something really durable if I can't locate them. Thanks for the tip!

You can also contact any of these guys who are parting Paso bikes on eBay. Often I've bought parts through them by asking. Some of the smaller parts like those, they don't even bother to try to auction. Unfortunately, I'm afraid to think that the ones they don't list get thrown away.....like those rubber pieces that go above and below the oil coolers. I almost never see those on eBay, but I once contacted a guy and he sold them to me after asking about them......That's how I picked up my FZ750 headlight, also.

Delrin is widely available much more durable than nylon,relatively cheap and easily machinable,most shops that use Delrin would have the size you need in their scrap.

I have an extra one of the small sliders that mounts on the frame that I'd be happy to send you. If you want it, send me your contact info.
