Newbie Paso owner

Hi...I'm new to the forum. Was looking to get back into biking after maybe 15 years without a bike and fell into a great deal on an 87 Paso 750. I wasn't looking for a sport bike but after I rode it I fell in love with it and had to have it. The bike has about 18000 miles on it and runs strong. Love the way it sounds and I'm looking forward to learning about the maintenance tricks and tips that seem to come with all Ducatis. I owned a Norton and and "beat" Honda in the past and this bike is a world of difference. I'm interested in exploring what's required to switch from the Weber to the twin Dellortos but really the Weber as the former owner has it set up doesn't run bad once you get past about 3000 rpm. At any rate I'm looking forward to reading up on past posts and learning more about my Paso.

Welcome here and congratulations for your nickname .
I hope your "new" bike is different so that she isn't leaking any oil .
Do you already have the Dellorto carbs?
If you don't still have them, you can also fit the Mikuni carbs from the Monster.
No matter, if you search in the old topics, you'll find many tips&tricks about the Dellorto carbs.

Oil,

Readthru the FAQ and this will get you up to speed on 90% of what goes on with the 750.

Make sure to get the belts changed if you don't know the age or the mileage.
