Hello guys,

This is Chris from the Netherlands.
I have a question ....
Does anyone know if the bodywork of a 750 Paso will fit on a 906 Paso ?

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

I have only 750 Paso and 2 X 907IE's, but i quess, that 750 fairings dont fit to 906, because 906 is water cooleed and there is totally different radiator(in middle), that in 750 Paso with twin oil coolers in sides... I dont have 906, so i dont know exact 906 fairings, but they should be more close to 907 fairings, than to 750 Paso fairings.... :smoke:

Remembering, that in these sites have already some longer discussions about fairings fitting to each modells, so you should search such from forums...

btw, You should add also to Your details(LOCATION!), that You are from Netherlands!

You can fit the 907's fairings on the 906, but not the 750 ones.

why not ? I`m using a 906 tank and a grey 907ie seat on my P750. So tank, seat, rear side fairings and tail fairing are interchangeable.
As Antti said the cooling system is different on the 906 and the 750 so the cut outs in the front side fairings could be different. I`ve already seen a 750 with 906 fairing on it, but some modification may be necessary.

PS: it`s clear that a P750 headlight fairing only fits with the P750 front side panels and cannot be combined with a 906 or 907ie front screen as its shape is totally different.

906 and 907 fairings are very close to each others, but 750 fairings are far... :smoke:

Surely such modification can be done, that, put 750 Paso fairings to 906, but i quess, that it needs some fiberglass work, what is not so difficult... I have fixed many times my Paso's (and some my friends Pasos also) fairings with fiberglass and its only hard work with smelling very ugly chemicals, what make cancer(polyester, resin, etc....)... :smoke: it takes lot of time (and also that cancer fear), that job and thats why its quite expensive.... painting is not so expensive after very well made fiberglass work...

NO!!! , i really dont know EXACT needeed modifications, but if owner of fairings(!!!) know, then i can make surely fiberglass work... :) I can make from fiberglass many shapes, mods, etc, BUT, owner of those parts have that "last responsibility, that parts fit 100%"... :smoke: Anyway, i am in holidays in Egypt between 1.1.- 16.1.2009, so i cant do anything there..(ok, only    )   And i know already, that very hurry also after holidays.... still have to maintain my own ST2....

Yes, the seat fits on all the 3 Pasos, even if the later 907 has a lower seat.

I know, but we`re not talking about the 907ie here. The main question was about 906 and 750 fairings. Until now there was no proof that a 750 fairing would not fit on a 906.
I still think it would work (although I admit I have no proof either :).
The issue would be when trying to put the 906 front side fairings on a 750 due to the smaller openings in the front side panels due to the missing oil coolers on the 906.

I`ve got an answer from a friend now who already did put a 750 fairing on his 906

"I've fitted a 750 fairing on a 906. problem is, the coolers. on the 750 it has a narrow fit for the oil coolers, on the 906 the flow needs to go to the liquid cooler. with a small saw you can make room on a 750 fairing for the 906 cooler. you need to be very carefull, else you will see too much 'empty space' in front of the fairing."
