Happy Near Year Folks
A Question I hope some of you may be able to answer?
I need to fit a rear carrier rack for a top box and side panniers so have any of you any knowledge as to whether you can recommend a make or possibly a close match from another type of bike (kawa, suzy, laverda etc) that may be a close fit or that could be persuaded/adjusted to fit.
If nescessary I will fabricate myself but if there is anything to start with that would be helpful.
regards

Stiv,
as there`s only a rare chance to find a Nonfango or Givi carrier set for the Paso the only chance I know is to use an universal carrier set. I.e. a Givi wingrack and the Givi universal mounting kit.
I talked to a guy once who used this on a Paso but it was long ago and he didn`t have any pictures of that. As I bought the universal mounting kit from him I searched the internet for some info and found this + the mounting instructions. Didn`t try it myself yet, but maybe it`ll help you

The Givi wingracks themselves can be easily found on ebay. The universal mounting kit you may have to order.

Many thanks folks

I have looked at the Givi set up and have beeen unlucky three times on ebay thus far as I wasn't prepared to pay too much only to find it didn't work, I have a better idea now. I must admit I like the neatness of the rear carrier but find the side structure an eyesore when not covered by the side panniers.
2 ways of mounting, one homemade:
I like the idea of the simple brackets that are discreet and would appear a simple on / off lifting of the side panniers.
This now gives me something to work with.

Not sure if You are interested in a new set of luggage? But I found a recent email for Nonfango and emailed them in October and they can still supply a kit for a 907, the email is
info@nonfango.com
Also Hepco do a top box and pannier rack which can be purchased from Motobins in uk. Their email is
sales@motobins.co.uk
Hope this helps,
Bud

I looked into H+B and it was going to cost ~500 USD just for the rack. Out of my price range. But I just emailed Nonfango inquiring about 907 luggage: they have it, they can ship to the US, and total cost for a complete (top, side cases and all mounting hardware) system is 725 Euro/1,000 USD delivered to the US! I'm seriously thinking about buying a set; anyone else in the US interested? Perhaps we can get a group buy going...heres' some pics:
I'm double checking on whether these would be in black, or if I can get them in a Ducati red, but I think black or silver will be the only option in this style. Here's the pricing:
IP24 65,00
IS24 45,00
P007-A 35,00
S001-A 60,00
2x840 220,00
848 120,00
ship to usa 180,00 (3 boxes)
total 725,00 euro

725 Euro is a great price considering there are probably no other suppliers of hard luggage for pasos. I know OEM luggage can be quite expensive if buying aftermarket.
My wife and I just had 5 days away (around central North Island - New Zealand) on my 907 and used a soft pannier set from Motoline. The problem with these is that the pillion pegs don't get much clearance. This isn't a problem riding solo.
I'm hoping to acquire another bike for touring rides otherwise I would look seriously at the Nonfango system.

FWIW, he said in a second email that he'd give some discount to a single volume order. I'd bet we could set that order up with multiple ship locations as well. Grou pbuy anyone?

Guys/Girls if you want I could enquire this end, I am happy to deal (as per the mirrors in the past), with the pound exchange rate at the momment it may be worthwhile?
I'll get a price this end sorted and what group discounts there may be available.
