Gert - you keep looking mate and posting. Don't get upset and
Everyone has a choice of what to use and if there is someone out there looking with a concours model to keep staright then those tires will do the job nicely.

I don't have time to read all the posts on the site now, because I am nursing someone 24 hours a day, so I don't know much about what's going on.
What is Antti referring to when he says he is looking forward to Avon tyres?

@ Skins,
check the "black 906 ... from Sicily" thread in the 906 forum. What Antti means is the possibility to use Avons in the following dimensions front Azaro AV45 130/70/16, rear AV72 Cobra 180/60-16.
Hope things are ok with you.
G.
PS: if someone wants the "real" original tires, I still have a set of Pirelli MP7s

Thanks, G. I had those Pirellis on my bike once, but it was a long time ago, and I can't remember much about them, except I seem to recall that they lasted longer than the Michelins. How much would you want for them? And I wonder how much it would cost to ship them to New Zealand (or anywhere else, for that matter)?

those MP7s are so old that you would risk to lose an eye if you try to get the off the rim. They would probably sliver.

(production date should be around 1987-1990)
